Recent finds

Howdy yall! Its been a while since Ive posting any pix besides the french gunflint I found. The 1st one is 3 blue rhyolite peices I picked up walking beaches of the bay. The next are two peices I picked up in a washout area. These to are uncommon for where I hunt. At least not this material. The blade I was thinking just a knife or an Adena blade the other I was hopin on help with. Any ideas? The last one is what I think is a little Stanley, only about 1.5 inches, on top of last years 3/4 grooved axe. Any ideas on types is allways appreciated. Wishing this 100+heat would get the hell outta MD. and leave behind some rain.

Those sure are worth the search in the heat. I particularly like the jasper point. Any basal grinding on that one?

Hey 37.. I think its black chert but im still learning my materials. Most of what I find is quartz and rhyolite. Some jasper and some chert but I have only found 2 black peices of this material. The other peice is the triangle in the middle of the pic. Either susquahannock or levanna.
