I haven't posted any of my recent finds, so just to let you know I'm still in the game, I decided to post this past weekend's finds along with today's. None are any thing to write home about. I figured someone may want to see my broken finds though.











































And, as usual, my post ends with a question. Is this a really weathered broken axe? It looks like a beat to pieces version of my raised ridge. I'll post it last for comparison.















Deep down in this ragged piece, it reminds me of this....

Lol! I know what you mean. I wanted to know about the ragged rock because if I gain a bit of backing on it being a broken axe, I'll know to look for grooved axes in that spot. Something about finding axes and clubs beats finding any point. For me that is.

I sure do! Hewn, I couldn't think of that word to save my life the other day! LOL. I lay in bed one night trying to think of it " hewn" I'm so glad you said that. It's kinda like a song that gets stuck in your head, but opposite when I can't think of a word. Thank you for writing it Sohio! I owe you one. Maybe I'll let you buy me lunch on the way to that artifact show! LOL!!
