rechargeables in pro pointer

Has any one tried using rechargeable NLMH batteries in their probes. The Batteries are 8.4 volts not 9volts. The question is is there a loss off performance with the slightly lower voltage ? Neilo

Why bother. I get about 6 months out of a battery. I buy a 2 pack and I'm good for a year.

Yes......they distarge on their own faster then a 9 volt alkaline will. Don't bother.

Thanks for your reply, I just read in the specifications that rechargeables will only last 8hrs where an alkali will go for up to 30hrs thanks again seeya Neilo
