Land-Mag had a 2 hour detecting window, so I wanted to scout out where Cru'dad & I planned to detect tomorrow. It's a field we have done a couple of times & it throws up a little bit of everything, which is what happened today. The main objective of the 'wander' was to pinpoint a couple of grid spots for the team effort tomorrow. Mission achieved.

Found a big screw cap whatzit, nearly chucked it but it looked pretty sculptural & reminded me of a Medieval Cross. (so kept it)
1 Scrappy
1 French Jetton
16-17th C broken Buckle
Celtic copper-core to a fake gold Stater
1573-4 Lizzy Sixpence - Shame it got broken as its in better than average condition, EF. (looked for the other bit without success):sadsmiley:

This was a good result for a 2 hour wander, looking forward to tomorrow. (when we will probably grid for 6 hours & get very little):laughing7:
