I am consolidating my finds here in a new post as the other one was just too big and too long...

So to summarize...

I got to hut a yard not particularly old but the finds were many... here is a list of all the coins I found in one yard and is a record for me... I went back to this site 4 times... until I was satisfied that I got most of the targets in the ground... in the end I was digging targets that I would of never thought were coins but turned out to be coins... I learned alot about my new detector this week... of course I think the new coil helped... Its very dry here and there is some of grass missing from my digging (and I told her there might be) I water all the spots on 3 different occasions (doubt that will help) so I'll stay away for a while... I bet I got 90% of what is there. I did find other finds such as 3 keys & a WWI/WWII button but this is about the coins today!

Now for the tally of my finds all from one yard!

Thanks for looking

This is the yard where I made my record finds...

That's a great haul. One people dream about.

yeah it was an exciting week for sure... but nothing real old... but this age group is typical for my area... it was only founded in the 1880's so on occasion we get into the 1800's but not often. Its not likely to happen for me in a long time... 32 wheat pennies! Jeeze!
