Does any one know about the laws concerning relic dredging in rivers in texas?? I cant even get a game warden to return my calls

According to the information on these two web sites, you can't legally do it without a lot of permits and paperwork. So don't get caught doing a big NO NO, as the law really takes an unfriendly veiw on this kind of activity.
