Relic Hunting
My friend 4-H and I was searching a field in east Tennessee that was suppose to have several thousand Confederate troops and attacked a small Yankee unit. We knocked on some doors and met some nice farmers who gave us permission to hunt several hundred acres of land. We hunted the first field good and found some interesting finds. We found horseshoes, nails, 3 prong fork, a button, pieces of iron and other relics. No bullets or buckles ...... yet. We don't know if these items are military or not. The button we think is early 1800's and the bent pointed thing we don't know. Both were put on What Is It.
