Relic hunting. Excelsior supspender clip

Anyone know how old this would be? or what company Excelsior would have been? Scott and I went looking in an old cow pasture today. Found an old button and the clip. My button I couldnt read it but Scotts read loundon gilt. Good day

Well Jason guess I will write another reply for you....I suppose since you didnt find a silver coin or such not much interest in your clip here ....I myself think it is a terrific find and aged more than most coins found and posted here.....I know what it meant for you to find your first ever non modern item.....And am sure you will find many more in the months to come....Congrats
