The locomotive button is a work clothes button, probably 1900-1920s or so.

Thank you Buckleboy. At least It helps with the era of the finds. The button doesn't have a back to it, just the front shell. The third pic looks like part of a plow, maybe? I'm really interested in the last pic. Heavy, solid iron tapered peg, 15" long and has two holes in the top going in different directions.
 

This is why us camp folk stay in todays find! we cant Id too good yet! lol Ill betcha the guys at "what is it" next door can tell ya!!!!!!! CHEERS! cool stuff by the way!

Where on Hilton Head did you find them?
 

I'm curious about your first photo. I can't tell from that angle, but is there a hole in it for a handle. The reason I ask is because the back is rounded over like it might be a wedge.

About 45 North of Hilton Head. Not on the island itself.

The first picture is an axe head.
