Relics of the past

I went on a short walk yesterday and took a little time to hit one of the dump sites around dating to when this area was a coal producing region. Lots of busted glass around, but some things tell the story of Victorian children and when you heated your home with coal. First pic I believe is the base section of a pot belly stove I kicked up and what I first thought was a clay marble, turned out to have a face on it being an old bisque doll. I like to look for old marbles in these old dumps. So far I've found a couple clay ones and a hand made German Latticino from the later 19th century. There's gotta be more old marbles around.

Indeed Bosnmate, the little round ones are the bunny's and the elongated ones are prairie dogs. The numbers of each is ever increasing on these critters around here.
