Can anyone help with an ID on this little cool relic. I found it along with the 2 LCs on the same hunt. Use the LCs for size reference, there are no marks identifying the maker/manufacturer. This was found at an existing home site built in 1831.

It looks to be from the late 19th Century, I'm guessing lead toy of some sort, but it could be a game piece of some sort but I'm not sure about that.

There is a person who makes miniature guns, on an unrelated note I was going through his website and noticed that he uses a silver quarter for size, I thought that was cool.

That is stunningly similar! Some differences though.

Not 100% the same but you get the idea. Your little gun has been in the ground for a while, but IMO the relic is closer to 1950 than 1850.

Still a pretty cool find though...

Thanks Matt, that's more info than I had been able to find. I'm in agreement with you on time frame. The e-bay seller didn't give any manufacturer's information though. Yea it is a cool relic! I think it is pretty awesome.

Hi coinman123 the toy gun that you have looks to be a water pistol. They use to have a small rubber on the but that was filled with water .I found one smiler to yours on the beach over hear this year.I will post a pic. regards
