Recent best bits from the Harvested fields, Queen Mary fourpence : James 1st half fourpence: And my favorite, a Saxon / early medieval dress pin with filigree decoration. pin head is half an inch in diameter. sadly shaft is missing from the pin: Hutch.

Congrats on the pin! Love to see Saxon finds and hammereds are always nice. :icon_thumright: Rarely happens here!
 
Wow. I think that you are so lucky to be able to find things older than my country, oops, I mean your former colonies are. Well done.
 
Good to get a Mary they are pretty scarce!

The Pin looks more Medieval, but a cool find8-)
 
Beautiful finds...looking forward to posting my other English finds (mostly from Devon). I hunted a stubble field for the first time near Bridgwater, but it was tough going :( Managed to pull a few goodies, but no hammered unfortunately.
