What I love about this hobby is the questions it raises. How did this Russian coin end up in the ground in a sleepy Yorkshire villiage. It's a 2 Kopek coin dated 1812 the year of Napoleon's disastrous retreat from Moscow. Perhaps some questions are better left UN answered. Love this hobby.

The way people travel the earth now it's hard to say. Just like I found a chinese and a japanese coin in a small town of 800 souls. Old ones at that. Both pre- 1900's
