Went back this morning to the 2853 farm house for a three hour hunt this morning. After pull a bag full of trash and a few clad I got a 69-71 signal at about 10?" down. I thought it probably was another piece of scrap copper. I figured what's the difference if I dig another piece of copper for my scrap bucket. I dug down and saw a disc at the bottom of the hole. I thought it was another tool tag from the Sparrows Point Steel Mill. When I brush the dirt off I got an unexpected surprise. A 1845 Large Cent, three feet away I dug a 1900 IH penny. I also pulled a porcelain door knob. Please enjoy the pictures and Thanks for viewing the items. Have a great weekend.

Nice finds Jamie read your post, looks like you went into the future congrats

Looks like the ground there is good for coins.

Nice Largie!! My oldest coin is an 1845 LC...Not quite as nice as yours but with a readable date...good hunt! Ddf

Congrats on the great finds- that LC is a beauty!!

Thank you all for the great comments. Usually the coins that come out of the farm are really corroded. I found another LC a few years ago there and wasn't able to get a date.
