Only had 1.5 hours of light but continued on the fav field where we left off last time. The whole field is now drilled & the weekend will probably be our last chance this year.
(we have done this field quite well over the years, but the odd nice hammered etc keeps us trying)

Good short hunt.

Lead Token with 'RA 174?' - quite rare to get dates on these
2 Scrappies
A gold plated whatzit that made my heart stop
Nice medieval swivel
Tiny tudor buckle, plate & pin :)

We, would mean Cru and Cru'dad then?

Nice buttons, glad to see you are back up to finding them instead of the gold. Not saying that gold is not bad, but you really find so much that its not important anymore, buttons are more interesting to see what people wore back then. You know what, I was just thinking, if you want I have a bunch of buttons that I'm not using at this time, want to trade for some of those gold coins? I don't mind at all.

Yes you don't see many dates on lead objects. Whatta you going to do this weekend?

We will continue with this field, whilst waiting for the 2nd Fav to be ploughed.

Darn, I guess you mean you don't want any buttons?
Which part is being plowed of the 2nd Fav?

nice finds >:(

hope you've notified the proper authorities!

Again awesome finds Crusader.

I heard the British authorities followed you around, maybe not :icon_pirat:

I`ve been strip searched in the fields near a WW1 bunker east of Ipswich by Bobbys who came racing across an empty field in there rovers looking for Gi`s with drugs.

They told me there used to be a no trespassing sign on the fence about a quarter mile away.

At least i got to checkout the entire bunker before they showed up.

Great short hunt, for a grave site. :icon_jokercolor: :D

Not bad for short hunt my friend.

We have finished on that field (new hotspot field) until Aug harvest. This is the 1st Fav Field (one we have done for years)

You always make GREAT finds. I think I have looked at that photo of those two Staters together about 20 times this week.
