Some may remember this field early in the year. After gaining permission yesterday to do 3 fields which have been planted with beans (unusual to gain permission to do planted fields for our farmers). I decided on the Dump Field to search for WWI capbadges & buttons. Aim: find 1 new type of capbadge.

Found 2 new types of capbadge & a new button type :)

I was on my own for 3 hours so excuse the limited finds. ;)

Tomorrow we will double up & dig rubbish like you wouldn't believe :)

Good to be back on a productive field even if it is only modern by UK standards.

No, unlike the other fields this was a deliberate dump. Most of the stuff is burnt WWI related finds. You should see how much rubbish I cleared, I was like a man possessed.

Nice scrappers, Mr. Dugfinds. ;)
