Working dry sand this morning when I came across a woman’s credit card wallet with 3 credit cards, a debit card, health insurance card, gaming cash card, etc., along with a $5.00 bill. Poor person was my first reaction when I found the wallet. There was no address or phone number of the owner in the wallet.
When I got home, I checked Facebook and found 83 people with the same name. But I was able to contact the woman’s credit union and after explaining the situation, they decided to forward my name and phone number to the owner of the card and wallet and I agreed to take the wallet to a local Sheriff’s office where the owner could retrieve the wallet. Woman at the Sheriff’s office seemed excited to have something to do and said they’d find the woman and return the wallet. Good enough.
