🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Revisit on cleaned Button. Does it say The Flyer ?

Trying to find info out a date and what it was made for. Previously posted we thought it was a weave basket design but after further lemon juice soaking a image appeared. “The flyer” with a train in the middle

It is an overall button with a train theme. 1910-1920 era.

There were a great many trains back in the day that carried the appellation "Flyer",usually preceded by a descriptor of some sort,such as Rocky Mountain Flyer,etc.

Yes, RR button. One time while detecting, I found one & kept sweeping my coil near it . I found ALL the buttons from a jacket that had rotted away. I gave them to a local museum that was near the area.

In checking my books on overall buttons, there were over 100 different overeall buttons manufactured with train engines on them between 1900 and 1915.

Thanks guys took a while to solve this one at first couldn’t tell what it was. The O I was seeing was train driving wheels. So 1900 to 1910 possibly cool.
