I am posting this here on the site to all the detectorist in South Florida who hunt in the Hallandale area. My friend and I were detecting another beach when we were approached by an individual asking us for assistance in finding a chain of sentimental value. The chain is 100 grams with a medallion attached. When we arrived with the person to look for the chain we met another detectorist whose name I will not mention here and was told that the chain had been found by another individual on 3 June. They said they new the individual however I have not been able to make contact with them. The man in the photo would like to buy the chain back or replace the chain with a similar chain. I think what is important is the medallion attached. If you read this or have any information concerning the chain please PM me and let me know. I will provide you with the contact information of the man who lost it. Thanks in advance. Sorry the photo is not correct. That is the way it was received and I can't seem to get it rotated to the correct position.

I sure hope the person who found it does the right thing.

I for one would return it. Hope they do the right thing for sure..
A better pic of the necklace & medallion would probably be helpful.

That was the only photo. If someone found it they know from the photo they have it.

Sounds strikingly similar to a recent "banner" find....but without a pic????

From what I can see in pic ...there is something on either side separating the chain from the pendant which is not consistent with "banner" find.??
My bad.

hope they get it back

I worked on the picture a little, but it is too blurry. Maybe this will help, though !
