Rhyolite, I Think...

It has been a fine day to walk amongst the chert chips in a field of young rye, Cayuga County NY. We had to dodge the Sandhill Cranes making their pterodactyl-like squawks....but managed to pick up this beauty that has been waiting to be touched again by human hands after a few thousand years. It's all dinged up, and I don't care a bit. Looks like Rhyolite to me. Agree?
