Ring #2 for me, Clearwater Beach this morning

I made it down to Clearwater Beach this morning. It was something I had been planing all week. I definitely will make it down there again soon.

I started at the surfline around 6 am. After 15 minutes of no signals I moved off into the water. The first signal I got almost caused me to fall into the mouth of the 2 foot shark that was about 5 feet from me when I pulled the 10k emerald ring out of my scoop. After that it was only coins and junk. I knew once I found a ring nothing else would match it, but I had hope. The water was crystal clear this morning. There were sting rays, small fish, and several small sharks around me. All of them as soon as they got within a few feet of me would take off fast. (thank God)

There were several others out there with detectors but all at a distance pounding the beach. By 8 am I was exhausted and I headed home.

It was the first time I got to use my Nuttal Scoop that I purchased from Travis himself. Once I pinpointed the scoop did its job. Only one time did I have to stick it in the sand twice and that was to chase a **** beer cap.

It was a lot of fun while it lasted.

Thanks Davest, TreasureDiggrNY, Cotton, Mumszie, and Willie D. That was really my first time of ever entering the water and finding something.

Mumszie I promise to leave you something. Willie D can testify, for seeing me by beachcam, that I was all over the beach. I didn't stay in one particular spot. I went all over the beach to see where it was the best; and to be honest there were signals everywhere.

I'm afraid to ask...but...Willie D how did I look?

Seriously though, the shot from the beach cam isn't that great. I usually see at least 1 hunter in the water every morning. I have no idea if that was you or not.

That is one fine looking emerald ring you got there. Some emeralds are woth more than diamonds carat for carat. Get it checked out. Congrats!!!
