Spent a long day hunting. Lots of beeps = lots of finds. Here's the flavor of the day!

Got another ring today, silver at that. And a strange 22 bullet with the end X'd..... maybe hunting for vampires. :laughing7: And lot's of US wheat Cents tend to show up around here. Edmonton temporarily housed the workers who built the Alaska highway. The Americans spent their money on our food, whiskey and women.

Here's a vintage tube of AVON creme shampoo in a metal tube. I spent some time trying to date it, but no such luck.

Some person was in Switzerland, probably visited the ROLEX watch factory and then lost his souvenir spoon. in Edmonton.

And found a little bottle mine amongst my travels.......my first old PEPSI-COLA glass bottle.

Sweet looking ring John! They used to cut an X across the head of lead bullets to make the break apart on impact to do more flesh damage. The hollow point is the answer for modern shells.

I know this thread is old but - The lighter is the classic IMCO-Triplex field/survival lighter given out to Austrian/ Swedish troops back in the day and still made to this day. The bottom of the tubular part...pull on it and the interior tube should pull out. That's where you would fill it w/ lighter fluid, Zippo style! As well, it can be used that way as a little candle. I have a few of the modern-made ones:

Dunno why the pics look all squished up? Anyways, just an FYI on the lighter... nice finds.

ETA: On the Avon creme; there may be a manufacture date stamped in the crimp? They may not have been doing it though back when that creme was made...
