Much nicer find than a penny! What type of metal does it look to be?

Try and crop it down here, enlarge some.

Thats really cool nice find

I'm beginning to think your ring find is a "Muslim Pilgrimage" ring. Not sure if there is any such thing, but here goes...

It could represent an aerial view of Islamic holy sites up on the Temple Mt.

These are circular design stone disc on the wall of the Pole Gate AKA Damascus Gate East Jerusalem.

These geometric stone disc run all the way across the wall at the gate.

I think one of the mosques on Temple Mt has a circular geometrical pattern on the ceiling of the main dome, similar to the one center of your ring.

I think the center shape of ring possibly represents the circular geometrical patterns of a dome ceiling.

Waoo, good research from you. Only I know that rings is not gold, but I found it in the same area that my Omnitron lead me to another target, but gold. I found that ring in one of the Baltimore county parks. I don't think what is the relation this area with the Muslim pilgrims.:icon_scratch::dontknow:
Thank you for the research.

Looking at the ring, it was the only thing I could think of... don't know for sure, was only guessing.

I tried searching Muslim rings and they have some about that width, all kinds of them made out of titanium. I saw 1 thumbnail called Muslim Allah, didn't take time to get the large image but from a thumbnail was very similar style.

I didn't have time tonight, but you can do an image search, possibly get a match. Guessing it's Muslim, but if not somebody else might know or post in the what is it board.
