Found this ring on a trip this past season. Thought it was junk at first with that coral and ring guard deteriorated on it until I saw the marking inside the ring 14kt/plat Cleaned up pretty well. Will post before and after cleaning photos
.96 pts. Princess cut diamond f color good clarity. Getting it appraised but is a very sweet stone from what jeweler said. No doubts if this ring was found in the ocean.... If not for this find this trip would have been a washout. All trips are not the same. Last trip I took i was in company of at least 5 others working the water.

I really enjoy finding those rings that others do not manage to find. Some right under the coils of others that do not know what to listen for to get the deep and upended targets they leave. Always sweet....

Beautiful ring - looked like it had been in the water for a long time.

That's a beauty, abeach01

Yes it is a nice ring that was not found for some time. If only rings could talk...

That is a beauty. I feel sorry for the young lady that lost it. She is probably heart broken. It will look great in a case or on your wife's finger. Great find.

oh - those arent ring guards
theyre ring sizers
Whydah found a beauty with one in it
cheaper than getting ring cut and resized
and if you gain weight - you just pull it out

They are sold as ring guards too, they do feel an extra sense of security by wearing them. And then they lose them. This is probably the 10 th I have found with one on it, second to band aids and black tape. Found many with that too.

Cheaper than getting the ring cut cost this young lady her prized rock. So I guess it failed to fit her after the ring sizer?? I guess some believe the wedding band is a ring guard where a lot of people wear them with the engagement ring to the outside of the finger so I guess the engagement ring is the ring guard sometimes.
