After driving out to the Mississippi River and back on Biz today I needed a couple hour nap. Talk about a boring trip..this was my 257th time I've drove this route to deliver parts to a customer of mine in the last 8 years. So I got up and made a strong cup of Java and I was ready for a little swinging. Went back to a local park that has been good to me giving up about 12 silver. First target was this silver ring and nothing more for the next hour. This make ring # 32 since I started detecting in Spring '08.

Hey that's a great ring, John!!!   32 since spring '08? You are a ring finding machine!

;D I tried to oblige, but http://www.925-1000.com/ must be down & won't load... :(

That is a boring trip. Man that's a hell of a lot of times to drive that route. Ever ask yourself what can Brown do for you? ;D

I've made that trip a few times when I go visit my daughter, and I get to top it off with a snooze - errr I mean a drive completely through Iowa. ZZZZzzzzzz.......

wow ANOTHER RING , GREAT FIND!!

AWESOME job on # 28!!!!! :icon_pirat: Great hunt!!!

Great ring Dad! How did I ever miss that one? Oh that's right, you have a new secret spot... grid it carefully, that's all I'll say :)

Nice & Congrats 2 you........... Better watch out for your son with that ET tho LOL

You could always do a little hit and run in the 20-something towns along the route, say one town per trip, county park, etc..

I used to drive the little one all over with her team mates to competitions all over the state, always made sure to stop off the interstate at some small town for snacks and got a little coil time in at each place. Once in awhile it would really turn out good and I'd end taking a road trip back to a great new site in small old out ofthe way place.

But then again, you're doing pretty good on the home front, congrats!

Ok, you guys caught me now.... you don't think I drive all that way past the old fairground and farm sites and don't stop to detect? ;D Actually we do ship parts to them also, by FedEx, not Brown, Neil... but many of the larger items are too big and delicate to ship FedEx or UPS. In the time it would take to properly package these large parts, do the paperwork, then drop off at trucking terminal, I can get there and back. This saves my customer $, and we get paid COD and not whenever they feel like mailing a check.
