Ring

Hi everyone.
I found this ring about 4 inches down in pasture land. ( North-Eastern England ). It is quite small and appears to be made of bronze. Anyone any idea of its origins?. Thank you.

Man , that's one of those finds that could be 40 years old or it could be 400 - it has a more modern feel to me , but I'm guessing wildly -
some closer and varied photos would help !
