Had to send the Nox into Minelab for the infamous leak issue so decided to fire up the AT Pro and hit a few of my spots over the weekend and found alot of rings. The usual stainless, tungsten carbide, etc. Even found a little gold and some sterling rings 😬. But the big find was what I thought was just a standard stainless band with a black stripe (48 yr old eyes). But upon magnification, I saw the engraving TAP 950Pd 925ag. My first Palladium ring😳. The jeweler Todd Pownell, makes custom hammered type "earthy" jewelry. It has genuine black inverted diamonds around the perimeter. Retail price is in the $3k range. I also didn't realize how rare and valuable Palladium is. Ring weight is 6.9 grams.
Take care guys and happy hunting!
