Went on a road trip today with one city in mind. Only picked up three keepers and plenty of dumps. So I just wandered off in no particular direction, hitting small towns off the beaten track. Found very few banks that at best had 3 or 4 clad.
Then I hit a bank and the teller asked me how many halves I wanted and I told her all of them. She gave me 10 rolls which I immediately could see were marked, so I figured them for a dump.
When I got i the car and looked at the rolls they were marked 1964-1968 etc. Thought it was a joke. It wasn't I got 6 rolls of pure silver
Here is the breakdown:

16x 1964 Kennedy
4x 1965 "
23x 1966 "
36x 1967 "
43x 1968 "
7x 1969 "
Total of 129 keepers (including the 3 I got earlier)
That's the most silver I ever got in a day.
I rushed home in time to meet my wife. Dumped the silver on the kitchen table and told her "Here's $800.00 worth of silver that I got for 50 bucks. I figured that a bit of an exaggeration would impress her.Didn't work.

Congrats! Wish I had days like that. My "road trip" during lunch hour netted me 3 40's. Here is hoping that some of that luck gets my way

Oops have to add a little something. Because my CRH activities bring me to some real creepy cities, and I'm usually carrying a lot of cash, I carry a little something in my pocket,just in case someone foolishly attempts to relieve me of my money. When putting this tool away I discovered another roll in my pocket.

Almost another solid roll
So the adjusted total is 147 keepers

Great road trip Rich. Did you check to see if any of the other tellers at that bank had halves?

They were all in the vault. None of the tellers had any. But who knows.

That was good; I once got 21 rolls like that that had writting on them all and they were what they said too, but have gotten some that had Silver writing on them & were full of clad too, more than once too.
