When on a long road trip today.Hit lots of banks The silver was tough to find, so I bought $120.00 in handrolled dimes. Here is what I ended up getting:
1x 1947 Roosevelt
1x 1963 "
1x 1964
1x 1965 Kennedy
5x 1966 "
3x 1967
5x 1968 "
1x 1969 "

3 dimes and 15 40%

I went to one bank and tried to wrangle a bag from a male teller with manicured fingernails named "Marlo". I could see the bag of halves in the vault by the coin counter.
I was very tempted to go into a limp wristed lisping routine in order to get that bag. I told him what a lovely name Marlo was. His eyes fluttered as he thanked me for the compliment.
At this point I was stifiling a laugh, as I thought to myself , "Your bad Hartford". I just could not bring myself to go into that routine.
Ended up with one 40 from Marlo.

Wow Rich that is addiction right there. The question is to what links will you go. :love4:

Golden Silver

I was biting my cheeks trying not to laugh. Just could not go there with a straight face

Funny... I could see that. I might have tried a little harder.... "Sthailor"... LOL

Mojo

I "scored" Peace dollars and a Morgan with that routine...wait can I rephrase that? :evil6:

Rich, we all get a little "coin crazy" when we get out there in the field. At least you wrangled a few keepers for the day. How far south of Hartford do you make your road trips ? I am wondering if our search grounds ever cross.

So the secret is out. They prefer silver over gold. ::)

Now you'll be the "butt" of all the jokes.

You've really hit rock "bottom"

I know, I'm "behind" the times.
