Next bank, two rolls of halves produced two forties and a Franklin

$90 to $100 in that condition :icon_thumleft::icon_thumright:

If your still out and about and are planning on hitting the post road from milford through west haven don't bother. I did today and no one had halves or the tellers won't sell them. Good luck

A1934 low series star note????

Cool find!! Definitely not a spender.

I would have snatched that up in a heartbeat....Congrats

I just recently found a 1934 like that, unfortunately it did not have a star though. I also got a 1950 D in good condition. Those old 50s are fun.

Just wondering, how do you guys convince a teller to turn over this type of find? I feel like they would only save it if they knew it was valuable and would therefore buy it one way or another. Do you just ask for old/unusual currency after the obligatory halves/ "big dollar" conversation?

update. sold the note for $105 at the local coin shop

I actually was in that area, pulled a few 40%ers from one bank and a roll with a franklin and 2 40s from another. However, also picked up 900+ in skunk/dumps. Not fun
