Looks like an axe head to me.

What size is it and could we see an end view? I’d guess axe head from this photo. An uncle of mine found a similar item in the 1960’s in Iowa. A person from the Toolsboro site said his was a tool used to clean out horse hooves. He thought axe initially, but his was too thick/blunt according to the “expert”.

It is a native american full groove axe or maul. Archaic. Between 2000 and 7000 yrs old. Might wanna post it on the artifact sub forum with multiple pics. Very nice
