FOUND THIS AX///ROCK IN A NEARBY RIVER, IT'S MADE OF A VERY HARD AND HEAVY ROCK MATERIAL . WONDERING IF IT COULD BE NATIVE AMERICAN OR JUST A NATURAL STONE. WE DO FIND LOTS OF ARROWHEADS IN THIS AREA. THANKS FOR LOOKING, SORRY THE PICTURES AREN'T THAT GOOD.NEED TO PRACTICE WITH MY CAMERA. CHUCK

Neither. That is a natural stone. I don't see any evidence of any work being done to that rock other than what Mother Nature has done to it.

Looks like a rock, typically the axes and hand blades would have knoches.
