Rock Tumbler belt replacement

Anybody that has one of these things knows that the first thing that goes is the belt.

Has anyone found a decent replacement belt that works? Maybe a vacuum cleaner belt or something like that? I tried a couple of thick rubber bands but they broke too. I superglued the original belt and it seems to be holding, but I suspect that it's just a matter of time before it breaks again. Thanks.

I agree.Wide rubber bands work even better than the belts.

Elsewhere, someone said a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner belt works if you pre-stretch it a little bit, by hand.
