Just wanted to share a picture of my rockhound. He's begging me to go in the woods today. It's going to be extremely hot so I'm going to have to skip out. Any suggestions on how to train him to find gold? Hahaha that's a joke by the way.

In Sweden & Finland they used "ore dogs" in the 1900's. Basically trained the dog to 'sniff out' sulphides.

Yup. I know one bloke whom still used an 'ore dog' some 4 years back. He's outta business now, but was cool seeing a prospectors relic in real life.
