Found these in same area of Conasauga river. Most found on the banks some found in the river. Some are heavily stained with Red . Several I have posted front and back pictures .
 

....All are natural, unaltered by man.. they are no doubt neat but not artifacts...

You definitely should start a rock garden, some of those are pretty cool. Mother nature can conjure up some interesting things. I have a mixture of broken artifacts, hunts of chert and cool natural rocks in mine.

One thing I learned early? If you find a bunch of pieces at one time, they're probably not artifacts. I also have a rock garden.
