roll hunting the 1960's
i was talking to my dad about roll hunting. he was telling me stories about roll hunting when he was a kid. he said he usually did pennies and nickels because he did not have that much money. he said that he used to get rolls of pure wheat's and mostly Buffalo's. he remembered on of the kids for down the street from where he lived found a 1909s VDB.
after i was done talking to my dad he gave me is old coin book from is older brother. it was 1961 blue book(i think). i was looking at the prices in there....wow there low. its like .11 for a seated dime in XF-40. the most socking one was the 1804 silver dollar. it was $5,000 for proof. not its 4,000,000!!! i wish he could have bout 4 or 5 of them when he was a kid
i just wish i could go back in time
