Well I know it's a Roman bronze coin. Had it years, and never got around to getting an id. Any Roman coin buffs out there ?. Robert.

Its a very nice barborous imitation of Tetricus I.

Its copying (good on the Obv, wrong on the rev);

IMP TETRICVS PF AVGG
ILARITAS [A]V[GG] - This should start with a 'H' which is missing. The palm in hand is wrong & so is the cornucopiae.

Imitations like this from the AD280s (ish) are more interesting than the real deal. Some are even very funny looking, stick men with bendy arms etc...but this one is very well executed.
