Roman/Saxon Site - Day 3...

Mixed fortunes today; the rain never came but we spent 1 hour at the start getting the car out of the stuck mud.

We spent 4 hours finishing this site. Well, it was closer to 95% of the GPSed scattered area, but enough to call it done for the time being.

As I suspected, the Saxon Sceat's where 1 off's for this year & we couldn't quite sqeeze out anymore silver. However, 21 Roman Bronze Coins is a strong finish.
