Roman Villa

Hi all.....in 2002 a Roman Villa was excavated less than one mile from were I live to make room for housing development, the picture shows some of the large stone work on the out buildings that surrounded the Villa. The main part of the Villa still lies beneath the ground what now is a protected common in front of the new houses, who knows maybe some day in the future they will excavate the main part of the Villa re-veiling Mosaic floors and painted remains of plaster walls
