This pendant is about 2" across. The hand painting of the subject is very intricate. I am assuming the protective covering is glass? I don't know what else to say about it....

Well it bepicts Buddha that is sure. Now the marking on the back is unclear, test it for silver I say.
Now whether the covering is glass or plastic, tap it against you front teeth and you will know...

The stamp on the back is 925 and yes it feels like glass thanks!
