What an incredible find! And it looks like it'll be in perfect condition once you clean it up. From the age of the pipes and buttons it appears the site dates from around the late 1700s to early 1800s. Is the plate British in origin? Please provide a specific ID and date if you're able. Thanks, and congrats again on your wonderful recovery.
