I was cleaning out my jeep today and as I was checking over my trash I found the little pewter crown. Then I realized that it fit neatly with another piece and appears to be some type of badge [Update: thanks to Hogge for the possible box plate ID]. It was found near the Royal Regiment buttons (one is in my avatar) found two weeks back.

It is about one inch tall. Any help on this piece is appreciated.

Re: Royal Regiment Badge?

Niel, That appears to be what's left of a box plate. I'm going to look at some of Rev. War Relics books to see if I can get a match. Have you tried, at all, to clean it a bit. That would help in ID if I could see the inscription, if any. AWESOME! :headbang:

Re: Royal Regiment Badge?

Sorry I didn't respond to your button from a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty awesome indeed.

Thanks dude! I don't think it will get much cleaner than this. It is pretty chewed up!

Re: Royal Regiment Badge?

WTG on that button, chewed up, not; that's a great find

Too bad it's so far gone. It was no doubt something interesting.
