I ran $250 worth.

There were about 30 rolls that were all copper :)

I got a Huge Pile of Wheats.
Tons of copper and a bunch of zinc to return.

Happy Hunting,

Nice!
What's the best way to get them out of the rolls quickly?

Those clear plastic machine-wrapped rolls are annoying. Customer-wrapped rolls are so much easier on the hands.

And I've noticed that my copper percentages for the machine-wrapped rolls are remarkably lower than the hand-wrapped rolls.

Let us know how the rest of you HUGE pile o' pennies turns out.

Ive got 250 left out of the 800 to sort.

There was 100+ rolls of 100% copper.

Im not Keeping Track of it all Per say but my collection keeps growing.
Ive got 15,000+ wheats now :)

paperwrapped rolls - take an old butterknife and wack (like a lumberjack chops a tree, but it does not need a lot of force) the middle of the roll with the blade. You really are not doing it to cut the paper you want to nick it. Turn over the roll and break in half. It pops open where the knife hit.

clear plastic rolls - a box opener with razorblade. Just run the blade the same direction as the roll. Again not trying to cut the cover. Just turn the roll over and bend the roll, it pops open where the blade was.
