what is a 1971 50 rupah worth? rarity?
I got this from a friend many many years ago and just found it in a box of junk. any information would be appriciated.

no its from indonesia. attached is a front and rear photo I got it back around 1997 or 1996, can't remember exactly.

In VF condition it is only worth 10 cents. It is actually a 50 rupiah coin. It is made of copper and nickel. Even if it was uncirculated it would only be 50 cent. It looks like there was al lot of these made. I would hold on to it though since a friend gave it to you.

yep, thanks all, the guy who gave me it is a big time treasure hunter (detector, walks fields digs privies and dumps. does it all but said he found it. he's got tons of coins artifacts and bottles.
