Rust on my stainless Sandscoop

For what its worth Plastic dosen't rust.This DIY sand scoop cost nothing to make.It dug 93 holes on last vacation and shows no signs of it.

Oh... btw SFD...

Your scoop is fine... those welds will hold for awhile if you maintain every now and then... IOW... they have a loooong way to go.

IF they fail... like I said... find a good stainless welder in your area ... have him "drop a stack of dimes" on it... then it will last forever.

I wouldnt let a bit of oxidation bother me, its just a scoop. If it breaks, then fix it, otherwise, just dig!
