Sad Clad Weekend

It is with great dismay that I must report that I was unable to find any silver coins this weekend. I looked everywhere for them, but none appeared... all I got was $5.00 worth of modern coins... CLAD MAKES ME SAD... in case some of you doubt me, I have included a post hunt picture as proof.

Sorry you didn't get on the silver this weekend. I actually just rolled the clad quarters I've found so far this year and they totaled $90.75 I probably have another $30 or more in dimes. Just enough to pay for the gas for the trip to Kingston, NY in October.

You are a diligent and intelligent hunter. You'll get back on the silver before you know it.

Even us old pro's with the most experience, best machines, and hours of research have those clad & sad days. I just goes with the territory. Just getting out & away from a 40 hour a week job is reward enough. ....At least you got some gas money

Beezr, what a coincidence..I just recently counted this years clad..and have just over $90.00 in quarters, (read: NO SILVER!) and almost $30.00 in dimes. I am saving up for a shiny, new Pro-pointer. I have been using the Accu-find that came in my package deal..and recently got to use a friends Pro pointer...O M G...compared to the Accu-find, it's almost like cheating !! And Carolina Tom..sorry for the lack of silver, you would think with the number of green-ish pennies you have there..that there would be at least ONE stinkin' silver in there!! But hey..you are $5.00 to the better and you have 2 keys to add to the other 150 that you already have...ha! good stuff. great post...ddf

Just a bunch of colonial buttons and a Draped Bust. I can't find a new coin to save my life :-) Just kidding buddy we all have those days. I've had lots of em. I hope you have a good sense of humor about my post and dont think I'm too big of a jerk but my immaturity would not allow me to not post that. Lol
