A non charter member can post an offer to trade, but only a charter member can reply with an offer to make the trade all other offers will be deleted, if a charter member offers a trade anybody can reply with an offer, it always favors the charter member.

I'm not into trading nor do I have any dog in this, but what would keep a nonperson from just PM'ing a noncharter who posts a trade and doing the deal that way?
