Salvation Army Thrift Store find 12/28 "unsold"

Found this 1930's to 1940's Erphila 8" cat teapot at the local SA thrift store today. It doesn't have any chips or cracks, so I figured I'd go ahead and pony up the $2.99 they were asking for it. Did some research on it, when I got it home, and found that Kovell's 2007 price guide has this baby listed at $170.00! Offering it to a buddy tomorrow, if he doesn't take it, it'll be on E-Bay tomorrow night.

E-Bay update: Piece went unsold. Must be all the watchers were non-bidders from this site.

Hey nice find ! I have one too . I paid $10 about 12 years ago for it at an a country auction , the next day , the auctioneer called us back . He wanted to buy it back from us. He offered $50 , we said no , we love it !
I'm surprised yours didn't sell . Try again in the spring . There has been a lot of bad weather across the country , that may have an effect on bidding . All you need is 2 people that get in a bidding war !
