Same spot, different century.

I went back to the same spot where i just dug a C.W. Federal infantry button a couple days ago but this time i found a great seal button, post 1902. I couldn't make out the back mark to positively date it but it does say "unique". I also found a toy spur from the 1950s and something that i believe may have been part of jewelry or something. It was in one piece when i dug it but i couldn't tell what it was at the time so i dropped it in my pouch and it got broken. 3 of the "links" are still together though. Any ideas? I also found part of a butterfly pin. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds BenVa68, I find those great seal buttons all the way down to 95 and 85 when Ft lee used to have training in Petersburg and Prince George.

These were found in an old neighborhood just outside of City point in Hopewell so I never know what i might find. I found this button the other day, within about 2 feet of where i found the great seal button.
