One of my wife's hobbies... turning vintage plates into suncatchers... she blings them up by adding stained glass, beads, and crystals... drilling holes into glass plates and bowls...very difficult.

We sold a good number of pieces.... then at the end of the day, she spent her profits on plants for our garden... it was a great day for us.
